Located diagonally opposite the Administration Building, beach side. The clinic is open daily for non-urgent consultations. The doctor visits West Island twice a week or for emergencies. Appointments necessary.

Telecentre
The Telecentre is located in the Administration building and is open with limited hours 5 days per week. Facilities include internet cafe service (you may also use your own laptop), phone cards, printing and photocopying, sending / receiving faxes, book exchange, DVD / video rental, passport photos and tide charts. They can also download digital photos from all memory sticks to disk or print them on photo quality paper. Mobile phones (already connected to our system) are available to hire. We suggest pre-booking them as there is only a limited supply. 1 hour blocks of wireless internet connectivity are now available for purchase. Great for those who are unable to visit us during the day.

CKI Tourism Office & Historical Society
Located in the Administration building. The tourism officer will be able to assist with tour and restaurant bookings, brochures, souvenirs and general information. Souvenirs, T-shirts, Fine-Art Prints and other items available. Enjoy browsing through the Historical Society's display and learn the history of this remarkable archipelago.

6CKI Radio
Located in the Administration building. Broadcasts 24 hours a day with the Islands news live broadcast 12.30pm Monday to Friday. 6CKI plays a vital part during a cyclone keeping residents & visitors up to date on the current conditions.

Cocos Club
Located in the "cyclone shelter". Open 7 days per week. Enjoy the atmosphere of this friendly club whilst sipping a cold beer or wine. Duty free alcohol and takeaway bottles available. Visitors are encouraged to become a member and join in on the many activities.

RESTAURANTS

There are two restaurants on Cocos and one coffee shop. The Tropika Restaurant and Dory's Cafe are located on West Island, whilst Bunga Melati is located on Home Island.

Malay cuisine is a selection of rice, noodles, curry and chilli, featuring chicken, beef, lamb and seafood dishes. Food is prepared to be flavoursome and not particularly hot, unless requested. The Tropika caters to western style meals with a selection of meats, vegetables and salads available from the bistro. In the case of all three restaurants, meals are reasonably priced and rarely exceed AUD20.00 per person.

Dory's Cafe
Cocos' only dedicated coffee shop with wonderful views to the Indian Ocean. Located in the old Admiralty House building, William Keeling Drive and opposite the West Island Health Clinic. Dory's Cafe offer freshly brewed coffee, tea and milkshakes, home baked muffins, cakes and sausage rolls are the speciality along with healthy sandwiches packed with yummy fillings. Cocos Autos
